$200,000 in Down Payment Assistance
Helping Buyers Finance Their Dreams!
A Grant fund of up to $5,000 is available for single family owner occupied households to be used towards down payment, closing costs, and homebuyer counseling.
Grant is forgiven as long as homeowner does not sell or refinance the property within a five-year period of closing. The borrower may be required to repay a pro rata amount of the funds if the home is sold or refinanced during the first five years.
Borrower must contribute $500 of their own funds toward down payment, closing costs, or earnest money in the transaction and complete a homebuyer counseling program that provides the lender with a completed homebuyer certificate.
Welcome Home Funds can be used in conjunction with THDA, FHA or USDA Rural Development loan programs.
